After lifetime of travel and living overseas, my clients have a stunning collection of international art and antiques. I wanted to create a luxury feel in this multi-generational country home, mixing in some of their treasured pieces.

First was an upgrade to the outdated kitchen. Whilst structurally fine, it just wasn’t their style. Changes included oversized pendants, new brass handles, statement wallpaper on the pantry ceiling (because why not!) and new barstools.

Phase two of the reveal included dramatic changes to the lounge, living and dining spaces. The lounge exudes country lodge luxury, complete with wainscoting on the walls. The dining room is now a glamourous entertaining space with bold velvet dining chairs. And the TV room with it’s animal print swivel chairs, is relaxed with a side of glam.

Finally the bedroom reveals. Eight year old Keira’s bedroom features built-in bespoke bunks, ample storage cupboards and a hanging chair. A room that stylishly bridges the transition from kid to teen. The master suite is all about hotel luxury – sumptuous, moody with layers of texture and tones.

The end result is a home that oozes style & personality. It’s proof that you shouldn’t be afraid to go bold!
