TEXTURE & TONES

Silverdale

This interior transformation was designed for a professional couple ready to refresh their space after the kids had left home. The brief? Clean lines, earthy tones, and natural textures.

Originally from South Africa, and with a love for a great outdoors and travel, our clients wanted a home that reflected their heritage and lifestyle. For the open plan living/dining/kitchen area we choose a warm colour palette of browns, creams & greens with a dash of rust & pops of black. A new textured limestone-rendered feature wall adds depth & interest to the space and a bespoke console made from 20,00 year old Swamp Totara fits perfectly into the new nook. The rest of the space features layers of textures including linen, timber, leather and wool.

The master bedroom embraces hotel-luxe comfort with grass-cloth wallpaper, a velvet headboard, soft linen drapes & a much-loved print of Queenstown.

This home now reflects the people who live in it – adventurous, grounded, and full of stories from around the world.
