Hayley is a color magician! Embarking upon a full interior repaint of an old villa we engaged Hayley to help us choose a new color scheme – with the emphasis on color. We worked with Hayley after buying our first home in Hobsonville Point. After living in small, white-walled apartments for years, we wanted to work with an interior designer to help us find the right furniture for our new space and put our personal stamp on it.

Focusing on the master bedroom and the open plan living/dining/kitchen, Hayley did a fantastic job of helping us pinpoint exactly what our style was, figure out colours, hunt down furniture, and piece the whole thing together.

We’re thrilled to bits with how things came together in the end. For us, the whole point was about making this place feel like it really belonged to us, and that home felt like a place where we really wanted to be. We’re enjoying chipping away at collecting artwork and finishing off little bits and pieces, confident in knowing what will and won’t work in our space now.

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Hayley-Anne from Lou Brown recently at one of her workshops that she runs. She was amazing. She spoke simply in easy to understand concepts, but more importantly she wasn’t trying to turn you into another version of her, but she was offering tips and treasures to help us be a better version of ourselves and creating spaces in our homes that we would love.
